Community Guidelines

✅ What to include

• Your genuine personal experience as a tenant
• Specific observations: "The lift broke down 4 times in my 6 months there"
• Amenity realities: "The gym has only 3 treadmills and one was broken"
• Rent amounts you paid and how long you lived there
• Deposit experiences: amount paid, returned, deductions
• Photos of common-area conditions (no personal spaces of others)

❌ What NOT to include

• Personal names of landlords, security staff, or residents — landlords are identified by property only
• Phone numbers, email addresses, home addresses beyond the society address
• Allegations of specific illegal acts without evidence (call the police for that, not us)
• Caste, religion, or other discriminatory content
• Threats, obscenity, or promotional content
• Content that could identify specific individuals beyond property descriptions
• Photos of identifiable people without consent

How reviews are moderated

Every review goes through our moderation system: automated PII scanning, risk scoring, and (for flagged or high-risk content) human review. Typical outcomes:

• Approved: Published publicly
• Edited: PII or prohibited content redacted, substance preserved. We'll tell you what changed.
• Rejected: You'll be told why and can appeal within 30 days

Keep your review anonymous

Reviews are anonymous by default to protect you from retaliation. Landlords cannot see which review is from which tenant. If you experience retaliation, contact our Grievance Portal immediately.

Landlord responses

Verified landlords may respond publicly to your review. Their response is shown alongside your review — your review is never removed because of a landlord response. Responses are pre-screened for threats and identifying language.

If you see a review that violates guidelines

Use the Report button on any review. Moderators review reports within 24 hours.
